Meals are part of the real surprises that the Antbear has on offer, as home cooking is an essential part of the menu. We like to use our own home grown organic vegetables or produce from the local farmers as much as possible. You have the option of having all your meals prepared for you or bed and breakfast only.
This is an example of what we have served.
Slow
cooked in a tagine, a traditional Moroccan clay pot, on an open fire, red
chilies, cumin, garlic and potatoes, together with other vegetables and lamb
gently simmered to form an exotic taste. Our variation was served with freshly made
lavash, a traditional flatbread also prepared on the open fire, together with
couscous and tzatziki. We finished off with chilled prickly pears and ice-cream for
dessert.
