Winter is coming to an end and with the summer holidays just around the corner now is the time to start to plan your getaway. Besides having fun in the sun (and eating way too much!) summer holidays are meant to be spent with those nearest and dearest to you. Friends and family from far and wide. For some of us this special time should also be spent with the four-legged members of our family – and luckily, there are a few places around so you needn’t leave your pet.
Here at Antbear Lodge in the Drakensberg Mountains we love animals. Its little wonder that Antbear Lodge is such a great pet friendly destination. There is plenty of space for dogs to run free and lovely long walks to enjoy together. The pet friendly units have own fenced in gardens with covered patios. The en-suite bathroom come with jacuzzi spa baths too. You can leave your dog while you explore the area knowing that your “child with paws” is safe and secure which is especially important as there are very few attractions in the area that allow dogs. Here at Antbear Lodge you can enjoy walks on the farm with your dogs off the leash. There is plenty of open land, dams, and other farm animals to keep your dog intrigued.
Who knew there was such an amazing place for your jet setting pet to the Drakensberg
