Antbear Lodge has prepared for the reopening of tourism using best practice approaches as suggested by the TBCSA (Tourism Business Council of South Africa) & the FEDHASA (national trade association for the hospitality industry) guidelines. Staff have been trained and understand the protocol needed to protect themselves and protecting our clients, Incl. PPE, hand hygiene, social distancing, wearing masks always and cleaning with the mandatory disinfectants. All high traffic surfaces are disinfected as at regular intervals. Rooms are left to stand empty between stays for a period of 24 hours before they are rebooked. You have the option to not have your room serviced while you stay to limit any infection possibilities even more. Buffet options for breakfast have been removed however you still have access to all items just served to your table. Tables have been spaced with more than 2 meters between guests for effective social distancing. We have also implemented a contactless check-in procedure.
Its worth noting that not much has needed to change due to COVID 19. We already had been cleaning thoroughly, practicing good hygiene, sanitizing and social distancing comes naturally at Antbear Lodge. There is lots of wide-open space, lots of fresh air, all the units are separate so you don’t need to feel that your stay will be restricted in any way.
